Regrets? Williams Hasn’t Had a Few

Free-agent center Brian Williams told sportscaster Rory Markas that he has no regrets about sitting out the first month of the season.
“Sometimes you just have to step back and see if the opportunities presented are exactly what you want,” said Williams, who rejected a $16.8-million, four-year offer from the Clippers.
“I’m in my prime. The next five years are very pivotal and I don’t want to make a wrong turn.”
Williams said he has no regrets about rejecting a $35-million, seven-year offer from the Seattle SuperSonics last summer.
“It just didn’t feel right,” Williams said. “Seattle’s a great team. I would loved to have played there, but it just didn’t feel right.”
