Walker Picked to Coach Westminster Volleyball

Steve Walker, a graduate student who played at Long Beach State in 1995-96, has been named Westminster High School boys’ volleyball coach.
Walker, 23, has coached club volleyball in the area the past three years. In 1996, he coached the boys’ 18s and the girls’ 16s at Surf City Volleyball Club in Huntington Beach. A setter who graduated from Newport Harbor High and Golden West College, he was named All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in 1995.
