No Pat on the Back for Summerall Work

Does anyone at Fox (“who’s anyone”) realize that it’s time to get rid of Pat Summerall (“yessiree!”). His skills as a broadcaster have deteriorated (“yawp”) dramatically over the past few years (“that’s right”) and he contributes nearly nothing to a telecast anymore (“exactly what I was thinking.”). All we get from Pat are cliches and mindless (“oh, sure”) responses that only serve as a verbal backboard for John Madden’s practice volleys (“I would say.”).

You’ve been great for many years, Pat. Don’t embarrass yourself any longer. We’ve seen and heard (“clear as a bell”) what’s happened to Keith Jackson (“Amen.”).
