Fourth-ranked Fountain Valley (16-3-2, 8-1) will play at third-ranked Esperanza (21-3-1, 7-2) at 4:45 p.m. Friday for the Sunset League title and one of the top seedings in the Southern Section Division I playoffs.
Esperanza is ranked third in Division I, Fountain Valley is seventh. Fountain Valley defeated Esperanza, 2-1, in the first meeting two weeks ago on goals by Nick Tolman and Adam Novak and needs only a tie win the Sunset League title.
