Tendinitis in Knee Sidelines Blake

The injury-plagued Kings lost captain Rob Blake to injury for the second time this season. Blake did not play Thursday against the Mighty Ducks because of tendinitis in his left knee.

Blake missed 11 games earlier this season because of a broken right hand.

Left wing Kevin Stevens returned to the lineup after missing the Kings’ 6-1 loss at Phoenix on Tuesday because of personal reasons. He was joined by Vladimir Tsyplakov and Jan Vopat, both of whom had missed games because of injuries.
