Where Are All Those USC Fans at Games?
What a joke! “Trojan basketball fans,” as if that’s not an oxymoron, continue to whine about not getting enough coverage on the front of The Times’ sports page. The average attendance of USC basketball games is barely over an embarrassing 4,000 and that number would be even lower if Bruin fans hadn’t packed the Sports Arena for that game. If USC fans don’t care about supporting their team, why should The Times? Instead of whining about front-page coverage, maybe the Trojans should put up or shut up.
