L.L. Knickerbocker Co.’s Income Rises

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA — L.L. Knickerbocker Co. said preliminary fourth-quarter income from operations rose to $1.9 million from a loss of $234,000 a year ago, while revenue climbed to $23.4 million from $4 million.
The company, which markets collectibles, jewelry and accessories, said operating earnings don’t include the company’s share of losses reported by Pure Energy Corp. and Insta-Heat. L.L. Knickerbocker holds a stake in both development companies. The results also don’t include costs or noncash charges associated with a convertible debenture financing, L.L. Knickerbocker said. The company said its final fourth-quarter results are to be released later this month.
