No Semen at Killing Scene, Paper Reports

Police investigating the murder of 6-year-old beauty pageant winner JonBenet Ramsey in Boulder, Colo., found no semen at the crime scene, the Denver Post reported. It said that although the girl was sexually assaulted, semen was not found at or near the body, in the girl’s bedroom or in the basement where her body was found Dec. 26. Authorities have not said if the girl was sexually assaulted, but a partially disclosed autopsy report said she had vaginal abrasions. The girl’s body was found by her father, John Ramsey, eight hours after her mother, Patricia, said she found a ransom note demanding $118,000.
