Grand Marshal for July 4 Parade Sought

The city’s Fourth of July Parade committee is seeking nominees for a grand marshal.
Candidates should be active in Huntington Beach, have historical ties to the city, have been longtime residents or have other noteworthy qualifications. The winner will join other grand marshals chosen by the parade committee in three categories: sports, military and celebrity.
Nominations are due by April 15.
Short letters describing nominees should be sent to Recreation Services, Fourth of July Parade 1997, 2000 Main St., Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
