Santa Margarita, ranked fifth in the boys’ county poll and ninth in the girls’ poll, will visit Villa Park, ninth-ranked for boys and sixth-ranked for girls, in a nonleague dual meet Friday. For Santa Margarita, Times Orange County swimmer of the year Philippe Demers will lead the boys. In the girls’ competition, Jessica Klugman will be the one to watch for Villa Park. Competition starts at 3:15 p.m. Santa Margarita will be tested again next Wednesday when it meets Irvine at Heritage Park in a Sea View League meet. Last year, the Santa Margarita boys’ team edged Irvine for the league title.
