Festival to Feature Ice Skating Champs

Local and regional ice skating champions will perform in an ice show tonight at the Pickwick Ice Arena, 1001 Riverside Drive.

Titled “Spring Festival of Champions,” the 5 p.m. show is sponsored by the Los Angeles Figure Skating Club, a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Assn.

Featured skaters will include medalists from the 1996-97 Los Angeles skating competitions as well as skaters from the U.S. Nationals, Pacific Coast and Southwest.

Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children ages 5 to 16. Children under 5 will be admitted free. Parking is free.
