Benefit for Dog Park to Take Place Saturday
- Share via
A fund-raiser for the city’s dog park is scheduled for Saturday.
A talk by dog psychologist Ken Perlis will be among the evening’s events. Seating is limited to 100, and tickets are $15, $10 of which will go to maintain the park.
The Bark Park, as it is known, is at Edwards Street and Inlet Drive in Huntington Central Park. The city donated space to start the park a year and a half ago. Volunteers maintain it and buy amenities.
Snacks and a cash bar will also be available at the fund-raiser at the Shorehouse Cafe, 520 Main St.
Information: (714) 536-5672.
