Chris Mayberry of Saugus High hit home runs in six consecutive games before being stopped in a 10-4 victory over Valencia on Tuesday.
Mayberry’s streak coincided with the Centurions’ rise in the Foothill League standings. Saugus has gone from a game below .500 to within a game of first place.
