MISSION VIEJO — An apparent domestic dispute ended in violence Friday evening when a 63-year-old Mission Viejo man was stabbed to death, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
Harry Lloyd Satterthwaite, 63, died about 8 p.m. Friday at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo after sheriff’s deputies found him stabbed in an apartment he shared with his daughter in the 21000 block of Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo, said Sheriff’s Lt. Fred Lisanti. His daughter, Christi Ann Satterthwaite, 34, was being held on suspicion of murder, Lisanti said.
Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to the apartment about 7 p.m. by the daughter, who told arriving deputies that she had stabbed her father, Lisanti said.
“The deputies found the victim inside and confirmed that he had been stabbed,” Lisanti said.
No further details about the nature of the dispute were available; the investigation was continuing, Lisanti said.
