Chorale Will Celebrate Schubert With Recital

Irvine Valley Chorale will perform Franz Schubert’s “Mass in E Flat No. 6” Saturday to celebrate the composer’s 200th birthday.
The 60-member chorale also will perform a recital of vocal and instrumental chamber music by Schubert so the audience can better understand his style.
The performance will be the chorale’s last of the season.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. at Concordia University Center, 1530 Concordia. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors and will be sold at the door. Information: (714) 451-5488.
