Psychologist Louise Evans has been inducted into the American Biographical Institute’s World Lifetime Achievement Academy.

The accolade is one of the highest given by the institute’s Board of International Research. Evans received it for accomplishments in her field and service to humanity, institute officials said.

Evans, a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, conducted a private clinical and consulting practice in Fullerton for 32 years. During that time, she gained national prominence as an expert on mental health issues, officials said.
