Chosen Women

As a Christian woman, I was saddened by the lack of recognition given by your paper to the Chosen Women conference held at the Rose Bowl on May 16 and 17. Although the May 18 photograph is representative of the sentiment involved in the event, the accompanying caption does little to explain the significance of the conference.

Chosen Women is the first time that 30,000 Christian women of various denominations came together from across the country to worship our Lord and to seek healing in our families, relationships, churches and communities. Speaking for those in attendance, it was a profoundly moving experience! I just pray that more women will be able to attend such a gathering next year.
