1997 Swim Meet of Champions

* When: Today-Sunday

* Where: Marguerite International Swim Center, 27474 Costa del Sol, Mission Viejo

* Schedule: Today--800-meter freestyle, with preliminaries beginning at 5 p.m., followed by final.

Friday--100 freestyle, 200 butterfly, 200 backstroke, 400 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay, with preliminaries at 9 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m.

Saturday--200 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, 400 individual medley and 800 freestyle relay, with preliminaries at 9 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m.

Sunday--100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 individual medley, 1,500 freestyle and 400 medley relay, with preliminaries at 9 a.m., finals at 4 p.m.

* Cost: Daily admission is $2 for preliminaries, $4 for finals, or $5 for an all-day ticket. Parking is free.
