Democrats to Hold 1st ‘Unity’ Dinner

Promising California Democratic Party Chairman Art Torres as the keynote speaker, the chief of the county’s Democratic Party is taking reservations for its first “unity” dinner in Oxnard later this month.
The dinner, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. June 21 at the Oxnard Hilton, will also feature Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks) as a speaker.
The event will honor an assortment of local Democratic officeholders and loyal party activists. The dinner will cost $50 per person, or $80 per couple.
