StarBase Corp.: The Irvine computer products company posted a loss of $1.3 million, or 11 cents a share, for its fiscal 1998 first quarter, compared with a loss of $1.2 million, or 14 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose 62% to $338,000 from $209,000.
