Glendale will break ground today on a $5-million Colorado Boulevard refurbishment. Once complete, the street will boast wider sidewalks, palm trees and street lanterns in brick red--”Colorado red,” the city calls it. Traffic snarls are to be kept to a minimum. Even so, the city has opened a new office for complaints, said city engineer Desi Alvarez.
