Computer Sciences Corp. shares rose 5.3% after the company was awarded a new contract. Computer Sciences, which develops and implements computer and communications systems, said it’s part of a team that won a $186-million financial-management system contract with NASA, in which Computer Sciences’ part is $20 million to $30 million over 15 years. That contract, along with other recent agreements, is boosting the company’s share price, said Brian Goodstadt, an analyst at S&P; Equity Group. The El Segundo-based company’s stock has risen 17% in the last month, from $71.19 at the beginning of November. CSC shares rose $4.19 to close at $83.38 on the NYSE.
