UPCOMING PREP EVENTS IN ORANGE COUNTY : WRESTLING

The season’s first big tournament, the El Dorado tournament, begins at 3 p.m. Friday at El Dorado High. In addition to state-ranked powers Ventura and Poway, some of Orange County’s top teams--Santa Ana, Brethren Christian, El Dorado and Fountain Valley--will participate. Saturday’s competition begins at 9 a.m., with semifinals scheduled for noon and finals at 3 p.m.
Anaheim, Irvine and Magnolia will be at the Downey 10-way on Saturday. Competition starts at 9 a.m. at Downey High.
