Pending Suit Over Ramsey Case Settled

A police sergeant who was removed from the JonBenet Ramsey homicide investigation has reached a $10,000 settlement with the city of Boulder. Sgt. Larry Mason had filed a notice of intent to sue Police Commander John Eller for misconduct after Eller accused him of leaking information. Eller has since been removed as lead investigator. Without admitting guilt, Boulder agreed to pay Mason in exchange for his agreeing not to sue.
