Police, Firefighters Help Santa Make Rounds

The police and fire associations are spreading holiday cheer throughout Redondo Beach this month by bringing Santa Claus and his reindeer into each neighborhood of the city.
Santa is riding atop a custom sleigh manned by volunteers from the city’s police and fire departments and pulled by a lighted police car. He started his journey at the northern tip of Redondo Beach last week and will continue to work his way south, concluding his visits Dec. 20.
