FTC Offers Consumer Counseling by Phone

The Federal Trade Commission is now prepared to take everyday consumer complaints through a telephone system. Consumers can call (202) 326-3128 and talk to a counselor, get credit-related information, learn how to file a complaint or apply for free brochures. The center will analyze types of complaints lodged to track trends affecting consumers.
