Eltron International Chooses New CFO

Eltron International Inc. in Simi Valley, which designs and manufactures thermal label and plastic card printers, has selected Roger Hay as vice president for finance and chief financial officer.
Hay succeeds Daniel C. Toomey Jr., who has accepted a position with a local venture capital firm.
Hay, 48, is working at the company part time until Jan. 5, when he will begin full-time service.
Eltron officials said Hay has more than 20 years of financial management experience in the high-technology industry in the United States and Europe. His experience in America includes Unisys Corp., Memorex Telex, International Rectifier, Titan Corp. and Pinnacle Micro.
A native of Scotland, Hay earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Dundee College of Commerce in Dundee, Scotland.
Eltron products are used in the health care, retail, manufacturing, automotive, package delivery, financial services and security industries.
