It was no surprise the 6-2, 230-pound Fano was named the Sunset League defensive lineman of the year. Not when 19 of his 42 tackles were for minus yardage. Fano also had three sacks and recovered a fumble. “He is a great technician of the game,” Coach George Berg said.
