Lamoureux, a forward from Los Alamitos High, showed amazing scoring consistency last weekend as Cypress finished third in the Santa Barbara tournament. He had 24 points in each of the first two games and 25 as Cypress beat Saddleback, 92-88, in the third-place game. Lamoureux, an all-tournament selection, is averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds this season for the Chargers.

Ludwicki, a forward from Fountain Valley High, has been the leading scorer in the first 11 games for the Pirates. She had 32 points, making a single-game school record six three-pointers Friday as the Pirates beat San Diego Mesa, 69-55. It was the third consecutive game she has scored at least 30 points. Ludwicki is averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds.
