Loara 54, Fullerton 29--After taking a four-point lead at halftime, Loara went on a 19-7 run in the third quarter. Herbert Garcia and Martin Banda each scored 11 points for Loara (9-2).
In the Brea Olinda tournament:
Orange Lutheran 85, Norwalk Glenn 64--Jason Whieldon had 20 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds and 10 steals for Orange Lutheran. Matt Erickson scored 30 points for the Lancers (5-4).
In the Coast Classic:
Edison 59, Antioch 32--Hwan Min and Jeff Harrell each scored 14 points for Edison, which outscored Antioch, 16-2, in the second quarter to take a 16-point halftime lead in the pool-play game.
In the Century tournament:
Calvary Chapel 94, Riverside County La Quinta 68--Joe Ortiz scored 33 points and teammate Brett Young scored 27 points for Calvary Chapel (8-4) in the first-round game.
Century 86, Westminster 38--Terrail Zoller set a single-game scoring record for Century with 34 points. Zoller made 14 of 19 shots and also had eight steals.
Laguna Beach 59, Mission Viejo 35--Nick Reynolds and B.J. Jameson each scored 14 points and Chris Sirianni and Kurt Beimfohr each had 12 points for Laguna Beach (10-3). Sirianni also had nine assists and nine rebounds for the Artists. Aaron Dunyan led Mission Viejo with 11 points.
No. 8 Los Alamitos 85, Lake Arrowhead Rim of the World 56--Ryan Ellis scored 25 points and Matt Komer added 13 for Los Alamitos (5-4).
Los Amigos 68, Sunny Hills 65--Los Amigos (3-7) outscored Sunny Hills, 17-8, in the third quarter. Bim Okunrinboye scored 30 points for Sunny Hills (5-7).
San Clemente 72, Anchorage (Alaska) Skyview 57--Semaj Johnson scored 26 points and Chris Smith added 14 for San Clemente.
In the Honolulu Roosevelt tournament:
Santa Ana Valley 97, Honolulu McKinley 68--Ralphie Farias scored 28 points and Koa Bartlett had 20, including 11 in the fourth quarter when Santa Ana Valley (4-7) outscored McKinley by 20.
In the Honolulu St. Louis tournament:
No. 4 Sonora 57, Honolulu Kaiser 27--Marqui Worthy scored 10 of his 21 points in the second quarter as Sonora (10-2) outscored Kaiser, 20-0, in the first-round game. Leading scorer Jeffrey Berokoff is not on the trip due to family obligations.
In the Katella Klassic:
Bolsa Grande 78, Hesperia Sultana 57--Duc Nguyen scored 14 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter as Bolsa Grande outscored Sultana, 37-15, in the pool-play game. Nguyen made five three-pointers in the game.
Harbor City Narbonne 59, Western 47--Jahan Rana scored 13 points and had two assists for Western. Western (3-6) will play Bolsa Grande today.
In the Nike Prep Classic:
No. 7 Ocean View 79, Vista 54--Ocean View outscored Vista, 26-9, in the second quarter to pull away and take a 40-21 halftime lead in the first-round game. Tony Dow led Ocean View with 16 points, hitting three for three from behind the three-point line. Kevin Hanson scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Jason Martini added 10 points.
Capistrano Valley 53, El Cajon Granite Hills 50--Capistrano Valley shot 52% from the field, making 17 of 33 field goals. Capistrano Valley made 15 of 23 free throws. Granite Hills didn’t shoot a free throw.
Mike Stowell led Capistrano Valley, making five of nine from the field for 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
