Knipscheer Gives Ice Dogs Fits

Fred Knipscheer’s goal during an overtime shootout gave the Utah Grizzlies a 3-2 victory over the Ice Dogs on Friday night in an International Hockey League game at Long Beach.

Knipscheer also tied the score, 2-2, with a goal with 1:46 left in regulation.

Andrei Vasilyev gave the Ice Dogs a 2-1 lead at 9:07 of the third period with his second goal of the game.

The Grizzlies (22-10-3) are 6-0-1 against the Ice Dogs (20-12-5).
