Santa Monica Will Help Recycle Christmas Trees

Christmas trees may be recycled at Santa Monica parks on the first two Saturdays in January from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The locations are: Clover Park at 25th Street and Ocean Park Boulevard; Douglas Park at Chelsea Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard; Christine Emerson Reed Park at Lincoln and California and Los Amigos Park at 5th and Hollister.
During the entire month of January, trees may be recycled at the city of Santa Monica Transfer Station, at 2401 Delaware Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Flocked trees are accepted, as are wooden tree stands.
