Conejo Valley Home Sales Show Big Gain from 1996

A total of 260 single-family homes were sold in the Conejo Valley in November, compared with 297 in October and 202 a year earlier, according to the Conejo Valley Assn. of Realtors.
The median sale price for the single-family homes sold in November was $256,862, up from the November 1996 figure of $234,782. The median price is the point at which half the homes sold for more and half for less.
The median price breakdown in November was $152,000 for 16 homes with up to two bedrooms; $219,284 for 87 three-bedroom homes; and $298,025 for 157 homes with four or more bedrooms. Last year, the figures were $160,000 for 16 two-bedroom homes, $205,208 for 73 three-bedroom homes, and $281,521 for 113 houses with four or more bedrooms.
There were 83 condominiums sold in the Conejo Valley in November, compared with 79 in October and 81 a year earlier.
Sales for all real estate transactions in November totaled $93.3 million. A year earlier, the total was $69.5 million.
