Hints Offered at Free Resume Workshop

Learn to write a resume in a free workshop Jan. 16 at Orange Coast College.

Participants will be taken through each step of creating a document to present to prospective employers. Examples of the correct and incorrect ways of doing this will be shown in the 90-minute presentation.

Steve Woodyard, director of the Job Placement Center at the college, will present the workshop on behalf of the Re-Entry Center, which helps students return to school after breaks in their academic careers. The center emphasizes making career changes and acquiring job skills.

The workshop begins at 11 a.m. in the center, in Room 106 of the Counseling and Admissions Building. The campus is at 2701 Fairview Road. Information: (714) 432-5162.
