Rosina Lawrence; ‘Our Gang’ and ‘Little Rascals’ Teacher

Rosina Lawrence, 84, actress who began her career as a schoolteacher in the “Our Gang” and “Little Rascals” comedies. Known off-screen as Rosina Marchisio-McCabe, Lawrence appeared with the child actors as the adult neophyte teacher Miss Lawrence. The actress also appeared in Laurel and Hardy films including “Way Out West” in 1937. Among her other American motion pictures were “Charlie Chan’s Secret,” “Connecticut Yankee,” “Disorderly Conduct” and “The Great Ziegfeld.” She remained active in British motion pictures well into the 1960s. On June 23 in New York City.
