Soligen Narrows Loss to $251,000 as Revenues Rise

Soligen Technologies Inc., a Northridge-based manufacturer of castings and metal parts, reported a $251,000 loss in its fourth quarter that ended March 31, compared with a $1.1-million loss for the same quarter of 1996.
Revenue for the most recent quarter was $1.6 million, more than double the $753,000 in revenue reported for the same quarter a year ago.
For its full fiscal year, Soligen posted a loss of $1.5 million on revenues of $4.2 million.
Last year, the company reported a $2.2-million loss on revenues of $2.8 million.
Soligen said the combined revenue from Parts Now, its manufacturing division, and the DSPC Center, its prototype division, increased to $2.5 million from $797,000 in fiscal year 1996.
