Plan to Deny Kids Citizenship

* I had hopes that after the bankruptcy debacle we might have a Board of Supervisors with some intelligence. Obviously not. Now we have a board that flouts our very Constitution.
How dare the supervisors support the idea that a child born in this country is not a citizen, no matter who or what his or her parents are (July 2).
My ancestors have fought and died for the concept expressed by Emma Lazarus on the Statue of Liberty--”Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” I am outraged that this board supports for one minute the idea that any child born on this sacred soil is less than a citizen.
