Trick-or-Treating Boy Injured in Hit-Run

A boy trick-or-treating with his father was struck by a hit-and-run driver after running into a North Hills street Friday night, authorities said.
The youngster suffered cuts and bruises in the incident at 6:45 p.m. in the 8500 block of Columbus Avenue. He was hit by a red Nissan traveling south, police said.
The boy, 4, whose name was not released, was airlifted to Childrens Hospital in Hollywood, where he was in fair condition, authorities said.
