Poly 40, Grant 29--Steve Smith rushed for 207 yards in 15 carries, including touchdown runs of 81 and 73 yards, to give host Poly its second consecutive victory.
Poly quarterback Alex Marroquin threw two touchdown passes, a five-yarder to Joe Edwards to give Poly (2-6, 2-3) a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, and a 48-yarder to Oscar Sandoval for a 26-21 lead on the final play of the first half.
Grant running back David Smith rushed for 164 yards and one touchdown in 21 carries.
