Canyon 24, Saugus 0--Luke Petticord passed for a touchdown and ran for another in the fourth quarter to help the Cowboys pull away from rival Saugus (2-6, 1-2) at Canyon.
With Canyon (5-3, 2-1) leading, 10-0, early in the fourth quarter, Petticord connected with wide receiver Brian May on a 55-yard scoring pass play.
After Saugus quarterback Travis Ivey lost a fumble on his own 25-yard line on the next possession, Petticord added a touchdown on a one-yard sneak four plays later.
