L.A. Baptist 63, Maranatha 12--Peter Dirksen passed for six touchdowns and ran for another for the Knights (6-1, 2-0) at Alemany High.
Dirksen, who completed 20 of 36 passes for 416 yards, set school records for touchdowns in a game, single-game passing yardage and career passing yardage.
Tim Feirfeil had 10 catches for 228 yards, including touchdown receptions of five and 80 yards from Dirksen. Feirfeil also returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown.
