New Mexican Auction Preview at Sotheby’s

Sotheby’s is hosting an auction preview of New Mexican furniture and decorative arts from the collection of former Santa Fe gallery owner Al Luckett, along with a selection of American Indian, pre-Columbian, African and Oceanic art at the auction house’s Beverly Hills showroom.
The exhibition will be available for viewing today and Thursday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. In conjunction with the show, decorator Michael S. Smith will give a lecture on “Spanish Colonial Taste in the West” today at 5 p.m. Information: (310) 274-0340.
