* Hank ‘Geronimo’ Frinks; Machinist, Musician

Longtime Oxnard resident Hank “Geronimo” Frinks died Tuesday at his home. He was 82.
Born Aug. 23, 1915, in Corona, Frinks worked as a drill press machinist for 20 years. He loved music and for 65 years was a musician, playing at the Evangelistic Center Assembly of God and clubs like the Samoa Hut and Rex’s Silver Dollar. Frinks was also a member of the Old Time Fiddlers Assn.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Frinks; his son, Harold Silvas; three granddaughters; three grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Oxnard’s Evangelistic Center Assembly of God Church at 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary in Oxnard.
