GIRLS’ TENNIS
Pairings for the Southern Section team playoffs will be released Monday. Play in the wild-card round is Tuesday and the first round is Nov. 13. The team finals will be Nov. 24 at the Claremont Club.
The top-seeded team in Division I is expected to be defending champion Palos Verdes Peninsula, which is ranked first in the section polls. Three county teams--Corona del Mar, Woodbridge and Newport Harbor--are expected to be seeded second through fourth. The county probably will have one top-seeded team, Dana Hills, which is ranked first in the Division II poll.
