* Re “New Station Incorporates Ideas found Statewide,” Oct. 25.
How terribly nice for the police and prisoners to have a new building especially built for them in Burbank. Not wishing to begrudge our fellow citizens in any way, but are there any other funds to be found that could be used in an equally worthwhile endeavor to improve our Valley schools? Many, sorrowfully, appear more like prison compounds than places of learning and nurturing, where children can communicate with teachers in distinctly pleasant surroundings, making them feel they have a rightful place and future in our society.
