Heritage Christian Player Released From Hospital

MISSION VIEJO — Heritage Christian’s Brian Hancock, a sophomore quarterback who suffered a severe concussion in a game Friday, was released from Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Hancock collapsed on the sideline during Friday night’s Victory League game against Capistrano Valley Christian at Saddleback College. Hancock was unconscious when he reached the hospital and was held overnight for tests.
Hancock will not be available to the Patriots in their final Victory League game of the year, Friday against Los Angeles Ribet Academy.
