In other Northwest Valley Conference games:
Sylmar 42, Reseda 6--Running back Errol Bowen rushed for 141 yards and four touchdowns in 16 carries at Sylmar.
Bowen scored on runs of six, one, nine and four yards and the Spartans (9-1, 7-0) won their 60th consecutive conference game.
Running back Donald Carpenter rushed for 128 yards in 15 carries for Sylmar, which out-rushed Reseda, 339 yards to 51.
Corey Neal returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter for Sylmar. Neal ran five yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter.
Reseda (3-7, 2-5) scored on a 76-yard fumble return by Andy Montoya in the second quarter that cut Sylmar’s lead to 14-6. Neal returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown.
