Skieresz Adds to Title List

Amy Skieresz of the University of Arizona won the women’s title in the NCAA District 8 cross-country championships in Tucson, Ariz., on Saturday.
Skieresz, the defending NCAA champion and a 1995 graduate of Agoura High, won her 13th consecutive race with a course record of 16:59 over the 5,100-meter distance at Dell Urich Golf Course.
The time cut five seconds off the course record she set to win the NCAA championships last year.
