GARDEN GROVE — A Garden Grove man died when he was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night as he crossed Euclid Street, police said.
About 8:25 p.m., Antonio Gomez Ornelas, 51, was crossing the street near Paloma Avenue, Police Sgt. Mark Byrne said. But the driver of a northbound Honda sport-utility vehicle didn’t see him until it was too late, Byrne said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda driver was unhurt, police said.
No charges are expected in the crash, Byrne said.
