Body of Man Found Near Supermarket

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man whose body was found near a supermarket Wednesday night.
A passerby discovered the body of Gabriel Ramirez of Inglewood about 10:30 p.m., lying on the sidewalk near a Vons grocery store at 500 E. Manchester Blvd., police said. Ramirez apparently was shot once through the mouth.
Although police believe that it may have been a suicide, they are still investigating the death as a homicide until forensic tests are completed, Sgt. Larry Kirkley said.
